Opportunity
Paciolan sought to modernize its industry-leading ticketing platform to bring more value and stability to clients and stakeholders. Traditional approaches, however, couldn’t hit the desired modernization timelines while mitigating delivery risk and customer disruption.
In tandem, the company had also initiated a process to modernize and migrate both an e-commerce application and a complex, third-party solution with roughly 250 interdependent screens.
To accelerate all three modernization initiatives, the client chose to pursue AI-native workflows that could safely speed up modernization at scale.
Solution
Paciolan partnered with FullStack to embed agentic, AI-native workflows into the modernization process. Together, they first pivoted from incremental feature innovation to porting existing functionality into a new React and Node.js UI and architecture, prioritizing safe migration over redesign.
In the first 15 days, the team ran a proof-of-value project, minding tight guardrails until outputs met production standards. Once refined, the Claude and Claude Code–powered workflow allowed agents to:
- Propose modern React UIs based on legacy logic.
- Handle boilerplate API wiring, with engineers focused on correctness and edge cases.
- Generate business-level documentation and analysis alongside the code.
During the proof-of-value phase, the joint team modernized 20 representative screens in under two weeks, beating the original four-week estimate. Paciolan then extended the same framework to its e-commerce modernization, where teams are already moving 1.5x faster.
